Visual Solutions & Display is a visual merchandising company that has offered a wide variety of visual merchandising services for more than 30 years. Now servicing more than 19 malls in the Chicagoland area, we pride ourselves on our attention to detail and our understanding of how to effectively communicate a retailer's brand and attract customers. Over the years, Visual Solutions & Display has evolved and is offering visual merchandising tips and retail training seminars to small and large retailers.

MEET THE MIND BEHIND THE DESIGN

Lori Ann Gum is the founder and owner of Visual Solutions & Display. She is an accomplished Visual Merchandiser (VM) with over 30 years in the retail industry. Working as a VM for JCPenney and Marshall Fields department stores in the Chicagoland area helped frame her success in this industry.
 

Pier 1 Imports hired her to be their Regional VM for their Chicago South region, where she was instrumental in developing new innovative merchandising techniques used throughout the region. She traveled the region training managers and their staff on creating promotional displays that helped to support their weekly sales flyers. While at Pier 1, she was able to assist in several remodels and new store openings.
 

She is a confident, outgoing, entrepreneur with a passion to make every space beautiful and functional for her clients. Lori Ann has developed projects with many high profile retailers, however she specializes in helping small retailers from a variety of industries maximize their investment when planning and designing their retail space.
